Jewellery Care Tips
Taking care for your jewellery will ensure that it remains in the best condition for you to keep wearing and enjoying it for years to come. Here are a few tips on how you can maintain and care for your jewellery.

Most pieces of fine jewellery will need to be cleaned by a jeweller from time to time in order to maintain a high polish and shine.

If you wish to clean your jewellery at home I would advise you to use a soft toothbrush and mild washing up liquid in warm water. Gently brush your jewellery with this method taking care not to apply too much pressure. Make sure to rinse and dry your jewellery thoroughly. You can then use the appropriate polishing cloth (silver cloth for silver; gold cloth for gold) to help shine your jewellery afterwards.
Where possible store your jewellery in it's original box/pouch and try not to shower, swim or handle household chemicals whilst wearing your jewellery; as these are known to cause damage to the metals.
